We have a lot of movies. I mean a LOT of movies, and a lot of seasons of our favorite TV series on DVD.
And it takes up a lot of space. A LOT of space; and I've decided I don't want all that space taken by our movies.
So now all of this...
is all in here.
I'm getting rid of all the DVD cases and the second DVD's that come with bonuses that I'll never watch.
The really sad part is that this case doesn't hold all of our TV series... I'm going to have to figure out something to do with those.
Slowly but surely this house is getting an overhaul.

I wanna do that. So bad!
...does somethin' good to your psyche, doesn't it???
Okay, you've got my heart racing just looking at that pile. Did you really toss it all in the garbage? You might be bordering on crazy. What if you need to read the cover sleeve? Or let someone borrow a movie? Or have the desire to line them all up in the closet? Oh, I can't cope.
I'm a little bit with Kari here and a little bit thinking it's brilliant and wanting to do it myself.
It gives me anxiety to think of tossing all of those lovely covers and yet, to think that I could clear up all the space that's being used by those nasty covers...what to do, what to do?
It was a difficult decision. But I'm keeping a few nice empty covers with our name on it in case I want to let someone borrow one. Any information on the cover sleeve can easily be found online... and I'm more than happy to have one place to put all the movies so that I don't have to hunt down individual covers. I love it!
But what if the movies like living in their individual homes. They like being able to carry their pretty, well-designed homes with them when they go visiting, or from one room to the next. Maybe they don't want to live in a big DVD apartment building without any real estate that reminds them what they're really all about. I just don't know if I could do that to them.
While the DVD's may want their own individual homes to live in, I think it's important that they all learn to share.
And besides, they shouldn't have been such good movies that I wanted to bring home and put in my house. Only good movies made the cut. Many bad ones were tossed out. If they wanted to stay in their own individual cases they should have been bad movies like, Jack the Bear.
It would have solidified their existence outside of my home.
Not to mention that I haven't heard any complaints. If anything, they are more happy that they are together now instead of lonely little hermits inside their individual cases. It's made them all more social.
They're having a potluck next week.
Potluck next week! Ha!
Oh, I love ya.
I think Kari is just worried that the covers won't feel like they're living up to the measure of their creation. Am I right on that one, Kar?
