Ford's Birthday

Ford turned one. And he's positively adorable.
His brother's decorated the walls with pictures of monsters (I made him a monster cake and they wanted to continue the theme).

We had Gramma M. over for dinner and the classic first birthday cake smash.

He didn't end up getting very dirty. He didn't like his hands getting sticky, so he just toppled the cake over  and ate a tiny bit of the frosting.
We made a good chocolate cake for both Ford and Kyle...since Kyle's birthday was the next day.

This little boy is such a sweetheart.
He is happy and playful.
He loves his brothers and they can make him laugh harder than anyone. He's also got the sweetest giggle I've ever heard. He can walk and climb. He's got 7 teeth. He loves to go outside. Ford loves to play with doors, whether it's the pantry, the fridge, the front door or the door to the washing machine... it will entertain him for hours. He's a bit of a picky eater. He does love bananas and watermelon. He also loves dirt and rocks whether to play with them or to eat them, he doesn't care. He's a daddy's boy and he prefers his dad to anybody else. He says "Dada" "Mama" and "Go". He can also clap, blow kisses and wave.
And his curly hair is so adorable I don't know what to do with myself. So happy that this little guy is ours.
