I love lazy summer Mondays.
Briggs started his nap at noon and the rest of us followed suit at 2 pm.
All four of us woke up at 5:45.
We lazily made our way to Walmart for our weekly groceries.
Then we headed to the pool to wrap up the night with a little swimming.
Afterwards, we came home to watch Popeye (Porter's new obsession) and eat molten lava chocolate cakes with strawberries and lactose free vanilla ice-cream. (Did I mention Briggs is lactose intolerant?)
It was a good day.

Porter has started riding his own motorcycle. His first ride was today.

There were a few minor crashes.

And one big crash, where he had to enlist the help of one of the professional riders to help him up.

It was after the crash when Porter remembered something his Momma has always taught him.

Always wear a helmet.

Riding like this for long periods of time, however, can be difficult on the legs.

Which is why Porter has come up with a new twist on the sport.

The "Fwying Motorcyco"

I'll admit I was a little skeptical at first, but this kids got game.

Best flying motorcycle rider I've ever seen.

And, he listens to his Momma.

Cajun-grilled-corn-on-the-cob does not taste like yard clippings.

Ask this kiddo... he's tried both.

Twenty

This past week my Aunt Janet told me about the wonder that is Bountiful Baskets.
I had to try it.
Here's what they sent me home with today.

I can't believe it.
And for only $15.
I felt like I was stealing, and yet they let me drive away.
I'll be doing it again.

Oh, by the way, anybody know what to do with bok choy?

Whoever thought to put TV shows onto DVD's was a genius.
And, they're making a lot of money off me.... I own most seasons of each of these series... and a few other series not pictured.

It's my way to relax.

I just wish I'd come up with the idea first...

Second photo.... don't ask, cause I honestly don't know.
