Zoo

Oh my goodness these last several weeks have been so busy! Hopefully now that school is back in session, and we're back to a routine, things will calm down a little bit.

I know that I'm behind, and sadly I haven't taken my camera out very much over the past several weeks.

For Labor Day, we headed to The Hogle Zoo with Gramma and Papa.
It was a beautiful day.

Porter loved climbing all over the bronze statues of the animals that were around the park.
Bridger was a little wary, and a little frightened by some.

Watching animals from a distance is more of Bridger's style.

Porter loved the turtles, the elephants and the tigers.

Bridger was a big fan of the rabbits, the balls in the ape house, the puddles of water around the park, and the slides at the playground.

It's been years since I'd been to the zoo. I'm amazed at the changes that they had made, and a little disappointed that we didn't get to see any bears.
It was a beautiful day. Porter talks about it all the time.We will definitely be back.
