Sand Mountain

Yesterday we headed out past Sand Hollow Reservoir and went on a drive to Sand Mountain.

It ended up being the perfect way to wear out the boys. Porter ran up and down the dunes all morning. I don't know where he was headed, it seemed like he just wandered aimlessly. But he wouldn't stop.

We took trucks, buckets and shovels to dig with, and a cardboard box to slide down the hills on.
The boys had so much fun.
We left a little late in the morning and it didn't take long for the sand to start heating up. So, we didn't end up staying very long.
We'll definitely be back, but we'll have to start out a little earlier in the day.
